A favor, please

My friend, Ariane, is getting married next month. Her daughter is one of Yoshi's best friends at school. I've been enlisted to make and assemble the 100 adult and 35 kids wedding favors, which has been really fun. I get to do a lot of crafting! I'm almost done. I just need to make the labels for the bags, and then put everything together. Here are some progress shots:

I'm also the wedding photographer too! It will be my second wedding, but unfortunately I won't have Sabrina to help me this time around. I'm sure everything will work out (that's what I keep telling myself). I really need to work on directing people, which I'll need to do for the family shots.

This wedding will be outdoors, but at least not in a snow storm. It's possible it could be 100 degrees though. But it's gonna be so much fun!

Booked my flight

In August, Yoshi and I are flying down to Orange County in August to spend a week with Eric, Wendy, and Ellie! I just booked our flight. Unfortunately Virgin America stopped its service to OC, which is such a bummer because their planes are so slick and fun and offered easy check-ins. But we're taking JetBlue, which seems pretty cool too with all that leg room and a tv. Plus it's also in the Int'l terminal. Yay!

Here's a video from last year of Yoshi on the plane:

The big picture

133/365 Me before bedtime
I finally edited my blog so I can post larger pictures. For some reason I had the notion that it was going to take forever and that I would break the blog in the process, but in the end I was able to do it without too much hassle. Now I can post pics that are a little bigger. Yay!

Red Velvet Cuppycakes

153/365 Red Velvet Cupcakes

This is a lot of Red #40. Yoshi wanted to make it for me for Mother's Day, but we had only a laughable amount of food coloring.

If you can get past eating a lot of fat, sugar, and artificial coloring, it's quite divine.
