I had the urge to shoot something, so I did.

Slam goes the door. I yell at Yoshi. She yells back. Deep breath. I talk calmly to her. She continues to give me 'tude. sigh.

I'm on day 2.5 of the flu. I feel much better today and may even find enough energy to go outside. I see the sun is out. That makes me happy.

Yoshi, despite her annoying 7 year old attitude at times, is usually very sweet. She and Tom came home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers last night to cheer me up. Today I was inspired to shoot some macro photos of the bouquet.

And then I stepped away from the flowers and took this pic of my dad's old Canon slr (which looks to be on permanent loan from him). I like the juxtaposition of the soft flowers of nature with the hard manmade machine.
