Little Indulgences

Note: this is a girly post. You've been warned!

In my attempts to keep creativity and inspiration alive, I went for a little walk Thursday morning along the Embarcadero. I brought the macro lens, thinking I'd take some closeup urban texture pics, but I ended up taking some landscape shots instead. I walked to the Ferry Building. I almost bought some flowers, but my laziness won out because I didn't want to have to trek around with fragile flowers and a camera and a bag. However, that didn't deter me from going shopping for smaller things...

...like lipstick!

It's been over 4 years since I bought lipstick and I actually didn't even have any in my makeup box anymore. I figured I could indulge again. This stuff keeps my lips moisturized ('cause I've got mega dry lips), and this shade of red is fantastic and incredibly flattering.

I also got me a bottle of nail polish.

I also picked up this sweet matte top coat to fancy up my purple nails even more. It gives it a satiny finish, rather than high gloss. Ooh, so couture!
